One of my favorite go-to’s for classic staples is Lands’ End. Season after season they do not disappoint when it comes to offering quality fleece, slippers and turtlenecks. I find myself stocking up each season around this time as they have amazing sales leading up to the holiday. Not only is the quality great but they are extremely size inclusive which allows everyone to find something to fit their body type. I typically wear a size 16 and wear a L or XL depending on the fit of the item.
Blue light glasses appeared on my radar a few years ago and my immediate thought was, YES, I need these. As a creative spending long days in front of the screen has been my life and while I don’t wear glasses my eyes would burn often at the end of a long day in Illustrator.
In today’s climate many of us are spending more time in front of computers, less in meetings and in
person. Teachers and students especially are transitioning to more screen time, as we work from home, which can be difficult on your eyes.

My biggest regret of last summer is not buying the Pink Eva Birkenstock in May! By the time July rolled around they were sold out everywhere. This year I was sure to be on it and I have no regrets. These have been my best purchase during Covid and hands down my favorite shoe of the summer. Whether I am walking Olive or heading to the pool these are always the first sandals I go to slip on.
Summer style this year is looking a bit different. I find myself revamping my old favorites and adding in a few key pieces to change up the look.
Same went for my trip up to Kingston, NY this weekend to visit a few friends who recently bought a house there. It was going to be a HOT day, I knew we’d be outside walking around town - shopping, and I was going to have to dress accordingly.
Color palettes are one of my favorite components of a brand style guide to develop. I’ve always had a keen sense of color and enjoyed working for a number of different brands over my career that pushed the boundaries on color combinations. From the floral color palettes of Disney’s Tinkerbell to the vivid hues of Vera Bradley’s iconic prints, I’ve seen it all AND press checked many types of product on many different substrates.
When choosing a color palette for a brand or for a client project there are 3 simple tips you can follow to create a simple and effective color palette.
Did you know that yellow is the brightest color that the human eye can see? Yup! Yellow represents youth, fun, joy, sunshine and other happy feelings creating a cheerful and energetic reaction. Just seeing the color yellow allows you to feel a sense of joy and comfort.
Yellow is the best color to boost enthusiasm in your life and can contribute with greater confidence and optimism. It loves challenges, especially the mental kind. When was the last time you had a brand photo shoot? Updated your website photos and social media content and (ahem) headshot? If it’s been too long and you are scraping the bottom of the barrel for photo content that excites your clients and customers, it’s probably time to book a brand photo shoot.

Holiday Gift Guide For The Hard To Buy For Friend
Jenna Lyons once said, “As far as I'm concerned, leopard is a neutral.”
I would have to agree, a classic leopard print coat can stand the test of time and be paired with almost anything.
This year there are so many different styles that allow you to bring it into your wardrobe no matter your style preference. I’ve gotten so many questions on where I’ve gotten mine over the years and haven’t quite been able to point them in the right direction since I bought mine new with tags, but second hand from Poshmark. At that time no one was selling leopard coats like they are now. So here you go -my resource for a fun leopard print coat no matter the season!
